Shri Digambar Jain Siddha Kshetra Aharji is a very ancient holy place, it is also very important from the point of view of historical and archaeological aspects. A large number of ancient remains of Jain idols and Jain temples recovered from the ground are present here. Here the inscriptions on the rocks mention the time period between 1100 - 1500, the ancient name of this place was Madansagarpur after the name of king Madan Varmadev. A pond by the name of Madansagar still exists here.
Atishay :- When, after a month's fast, an ascetic saint got food (food) after being offered food by a Yakshini here, the name of this place became famous as Aaharji! So many people come here to fulfill their wishes.
Main Temple and Statues:- The main temple here is of Shri 1008 Shantinath Temple. On both sides of the statue of Lord Shantinath, there are statues of Lord Kunthunath and Lord Arhanath. The 18 feet high statue of Lord Shantinath ji is very beautiful.
Apart from the main temple, there are 7 other temples here. Inside the ground here V.S. There are also 97 grand temples of the period 1109-2055.
From Siddakshetra, 1 km away is Nirvana Kshetra (place of salvation) on the top of the hill, here a small pond named Madan Talab, Hill of Siddhas, Cave of Siddhas are also famous.
Chaubisi of three eras (present, past and future of 24 Tirthankaras) are present around the main temple. The main temple was built here in the 12th century and the statue of Moolnayak Lord Shantinath was installed in AD 1237.
