दिगम्बर जैन अतिशय क्षेत्र गोलाकोट पहाडी गोल के संग्रहालय में बनाया गया है इसलिए इस मंदिर को गोलाकोट मंदिर कहा जाता है। खनियाधाना से 8 किमी दूर दक्षिण दिशा में बुंदेलखंड विंध्याचल में पंचों के मध्य में स्थित गोलाकोट मंदिर जैन समाज के लिए अति विशिष्ट स्थान है यही कारण है कि यहां पर सर्वाधिक जैन समाज के मुनि, तपस्तवी, संतों की सलाह समय-समय पर रहती है ।। चार्तुमास के दौरान भी जैन समाज के संतों ने इस पावन धरा को पवित्र किया है।
जमीन से 264 सीढियों के चढ़ने के बाद गोलाकोट मंदिर पहुंचा जाता है। यहां 24वें तीर्थकर भगवान श्री महावीर स्वामी से लेकर पूर्व के आदिनाथ से पाश्र्वनाथ तक की अति प्राचीन मूर्तियां इस मंदिर में मौजूद हैं। यहां के इतिहास के बारे में बताया गया है कि इस पहाड़ी पर दिगंबर जैन परिवार समाज के लगभग 700 परिवार दादामुरी गौत्र के निवास करते हैं और यहां उनके परिवार को भगवान आदिनाथ द्वारा अभिषेक भी किया जाता है। धीरे-धीरे अन्य जैन भी खनियाधाना में निवास करने लगे हैं जिससे यहां के जैन समाज के लोगों की संख्या में विखंडन हो गया है। प्राकृतिक रूप से व स्थानीय जैन समाज के अनुयायी यहां लगभग 900 कुआं और 89 बाबड़ी मौजूद हैं।
अ.क्षे. गोलाकोट, मप्र जिला-शिवपुरी में तहसील खनियांधाना से 12 कि.मी. एक छोटा सा पहाड़ी नव विकसित क्षेत्र है। 3000 हजार साल पुरानी प्राचीन प्रतिमाओं के दर्शन क्षेत्र होते हैं। विशाल कैम्पस में मंदिर, विशाल 4 प्लाजा गेस्ट हाउस है। जो पूर्णतया एयर कंडीशन है, जो सुधाकलश के नाम से है। मंदिर के पास ही नवनिर्मित विशाल संत शाला भी है। हर सीजन में छोटी-बड़ी गाडी क्षेत्र में पहुंच सकती है। मंदिर में आदिनाथ भगवान की मूलनायक प्रतिमा चमत्कारिक है। मंदिर परकोटे में दो डालों में कई मूर्तियाँ हैं जिनमें सिर मूर्ति भंजको ने काटा था। क्षेत्र पर चौबीसी का निर्माण कार्य प्रगति पर है।
*सुविधाएं*- अलग विशाल भोजन शाला गुरूकृपा अन्नप्रसाद है, जहां घर जैसा भोजन उपलब्ध है। गेस्टहाउस में वीआईपी सुविधा है। मंदिर जी में विधान की पूर्ण इच्छाएं उपलब्ध हैं। मंदिर जी में शांतिधारा का समय 7.15 से प्रारंभ होता है।
*निकट्टम क्षेत्र*-ग्लाकाकोट से 90 कि.मी., मुंगावली से 70 कि.मी., बामौर कलां से 10 कि.मी. की दूरी पर है।
*निकटविद्या तीर्थ क्षेत्र*- पचराई आ क्षे लगभग 30 किमी पर दर्शनीय प्राचीन क्षेत्र है। जहां अनेकों पूज्यनीय प्रतिमाओं के अतिरिक्त सेकडों खंडित भी हैं।

Digambar Jain Atishay Kshetra Golakot is built in the museum of Pahadi Gol, hence this temple is called Golakot Temple. Golakot Temple, situated in the middle of the Panchas in Bundelkhand Vindhyachal, 8 km away from Khaniyadhana, in the south direction, is a very special place for the Jain community, that is why the advice of most of the sages, ascetics and saints of the Jain community is given here from time to time. .
