टीकमगढ़ से 5 किमी दूर सागर टीकमगढ़ मार्ग पर पपुरा जी जैन तीर्थ है, जो बहुत प्राचीन है और यहां 108 जैन मंदिर हैं जो कई प्रकार के आकार में बने हैं जैसे रथ आकार और कमल आकार यहां सुंदर और भोंयरे हैं |

पपौरा क्षेत्र के विशेष आकर्षण-

इस क्षेत्र में मंदिर रचना शिल्प एवं कलात्मकता की दृष्टि से अदितीय है। खंडहरों पर इतनी गहरी छाप है कि मानो कलाकारों ने पत्थरों को माँ बनाकर ढाल दिया हो।

वास्तुकला का अद्भुत स्वरूप-

पपौरा क्षेत्र पर जो चौबीसी बनी है वह भारत वर्ष में अन्यत्र देखने को नहीं मिलती। इसमें एक विशाल मंदिर के चारों ओर प्रत्येक दिशा में 6-6 मंदिर हैं। प्रत्येक वेदिका की अलग-अलग प्रशंसाओं को चतुर्दिक झरोंखों के रूप में बनाया गया है, वह वास्तुकला का अद्भुत नमूना है।

प्राचीन भोन्यारे-

प्राचीन समुच्चय के समीपवर्ती दो विशाल भोन्यारे (भूगर्भ में स्थित मंदिर) हैं, नमूने संवत 1202 की अत्यंत प्राचीनतम प्रतिमाएँ हैं जो देशी पाषाण से निर्मित हुई हैं जो अपनी चमक और आकर्षण से नौ सौ वर्ष बाद भी मानव को अद्भुत कर देती हैं।

भगवान पार्श्वनाथ की दुर्लभ प्रतिमा-

दुर्लभ पद्मावती सयुक्त पार्श्वनाथ की अद्वैतीय कलात्मक प्रतिमा जिसके चारों ओर बने चित्र अत्यंत मनोज्ञ हैं। इस प्रतिमा के सौन्दर्य को देखकर भक्त आश्चर्य चकित रह जाते हैं।

रथकार मंदिर -

यह मंदिर का मुख्यद्वार दूर से बनाया गया है

देखने पर ऐसा अनोखा होता है कि भव्य रथ में जोते हुए घोड़े तेजी से दोड़ते हुए जा रहे हैं। दरअसल यह मंदिर भक्ति से ओत-प्रोत मानवों को मुक्तिदाता के रूप में मिलाने के लिए बनाया गया है।

बबीता मंदिर -

इस मंदिर का निर्माण कुछ समय पहले हुआ था। 225 फुट के गोल गोल गोले में 24 खंभों पर बना हुआ गोल मंदिर है, जिसमे 18 फुट के उत्तुंग श्री वैशाली भगवान की अत्यंत मनोज्ञ प्रतिमा श्रवणबेलगोला में स्थित है। मूर्ति के दर्शन से अनिध सोंद्रा अपरिमित शांति की अनुभूति कराता है।

बावड़ी का दान -

क्षेत्र पर एक अत्यंत प्राचीन बावड़ी जो पूर्व में है

हमेशा ऊपर तक जल से भरे निवास थे,उस समय जब किसी यात्री को भोजन के लिए पोचों की आवश्यकता होती थी तो वह एक लिखित तालाब के पानी में डाल देता था और पोखों से ऊपर उठ जाते थे। अत्यंत भरो से और भक्ति से जो भी इस भक्ति की कामना करता है वह निश्चित रूप से पूर्ण है।

पटाखाँ कुआँ -

यह घटना विक्रम संवत 1872 की एक वृद्धा है

माँ के द्वारा मंदिर का निर्माण करवाया गया। इस मांगलिक बेला पर अपर जनसमूह को प्रीतिभोज दिया जा रहा था। पानी के अभाव से लोग व्याकुल होने लगे और बूढ़ी मां के संबंध में अनर्गल बोलने लगे | बुज़ुर्ग माँ अत्यंत भारी रोती हुई | लेकिन तुरत ही उसने प्रतिज्ञा ली कि जब तक पानी की व्यवस्था नहीं हो जाती, तब तक मैं अन्न-जल ग्रहण नहीं कर पाता, ऐसा खुलासा करता हूं, वह कुँए की तलती में समाधी में बैठ गया, कुछ ही समय में कुँए में पानी के कई स्रोत फूट पड़े और वह बूढ़ा हो गया माँ उस पानी के साथ ऊपर आ गयी | यहाँ तक की पानी कुँए से बाहर आ गया | उपस्थित जनसमूह द्वारा प्रार्थना करने पर ही पानी कुँए से बंद हुआ | इसी से यह कुआं पत्रखान के नाम से जाना जाता है |
