Poet Banarasidas has described the greatness of this statue at many places. He has also composed a hymn of Chintamani Parshvanath. Which is as follows:-
Chintamani Swami is my true Sahib. He removes the sorrows of the three worlds and takes your name in the morning. The idol is seated in Agra, you have established a place of patience, this auspicious time. The Banarasi devotee meditates and prays to you. From this it is known that the idol which even a spiritual lover like Banarasidas describes as mourning the three worlds, how miraculous it must be. Poet Bhudhardas has also composed a hymn for the idol of Chintamani Parshvanath. In it he says –
The joy-giving Jinraj has not come to my heart today. Now the sage has got Chintamani feet by luck. By keeping the lotus feet of Shripasdev in his heart, the obstacles are destroyed. The eternal bond is freed, which story will destroy the obstacles. This idol is so beautiful that on seeing it, waves of devotion are felt in the mind.
